The Sydney Coffee Academy is introducing three exciting new coffee programs in September 2009. 

Barista 1, Barista 2 and Barista 3 will take participants from novice coffee maker right through to master barista with advanced coffee making skills. 

The programs will be presented by industry experts and will combine both practice and theory as participants build knowledge and skills moving through each level. 

Barista 1 - this theory and practical workshop covers growing and roasting of the beans to the process of extracting the perfect espresso.

Barista 2 – for those who wish to become accredited baristas - participants will have already completed Barista 1 and have undertaken a minimum of 30 hours practical experience.

Barista 3 - for those already making coffee and texturing milk - this program will introduce advanced coffee skills and coffee industry knowledge such as purchasing stock, costing skills, maintenance schedules and managing workflows.
